The language of flamenco has, over decades, transformed within my body, flowing from fascination into a constitutive part of my creative practice and personal identity. It has become a language of the passage of time, which brings with it many changes. A language that—like the body—changes as time passes. The constant remains the female (dancing) body, moving along the boundary between communication with itself and with the outside world, while at the same time remaining a field of projections, doubts, and the search for its own space—both subject and object at once.
