THE [uncertain] FOUR SEASONS

THE [uncertain] FOUR SEASONS
Stage Conscious Concept

Coexistence in a special initiative and unique approach to communication on climate change. The [uncertain] Four Seasons is a global project that recomposed Vivaldi’s ‘The Four Seasons’ using climate data; artificial intelligence, with the help of scientists, rewrote the score of the song and included the predicted extreme changes in the environment in the musical notation. Each participated orchestra from around the world performed local variations of The [uncertain] Four Seasons. What will our future sound like if we don’t act now on climate change? Antonio Vivaldi set untouched nature to music in 1725, and we witnessed the sound of the Earth in 2050; version of Vivaldi’s composition, interpreted by the Slovenian Youth Orchestra (SMO), conducted by Živa Ploj Peršuh, which was one of the presented orchestras at this year’s United Nations COP26 conference in Glasgow at the beginning of November 2021. Orchestras from all over the world presented their version of the song to encourage even more countries and organizations to sign the commitment of “Leaders for Nature”, to which Slovenia is also a signatory.

Conductor Živa Ploj Peršuh embodied Things I Miss creation that shows and illustrates disappearing atolls through hand screen printing art within very intuitive process. Conductors movements make ilustrated story on fabric alive. Storytelling within coexistence of body, movement and space, together with Slovenian Youth Orchestra, vibrated and narrated the sound of the Earth in 2050.
Impresive experience for Things I Miss creative path.
